About Cyneburg Services: Kimberley Martin
Kimberley Martin was born and raised in Yakima, Washington. She attended Washington State University before transferring to the University of Washington where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and settled in the greater Seattle area. After 11 years in graphic design and having gone out on her own, Kimberley began working for a landscaping business part time. This led to a full-time position and career change.
Kimberley spent the next 8 years working and learning everything she could about landscaping. She worked hard and soaked up all the information she could while excelling at her job. She quickly became Special Projects Lead. She and her crews ran projects ranging from hardscapes, irrigation, lighting, stone patios, and landscape maintenance crews.
In 2015 Kimberley started Cyneburg Services. Her father who owned his own business for over 30 years told her you can work any 12-hour half days you want. To treat every person’s property as if it were your own. And whatever you do, enjoy it. Kimberley loves working with wood and the precision that deck building brings with it. Not surprising her Great Grandfather was a carpenter and her Grandfather was a hop farmer who loved working with his hands as well. Some of her hobbies include collecting shot glasses from her world travels. She has also been a soccer referee for 27 years that began at the age of 24. She has refereed games of all ages, indoor, and semi-pro leagues.
